MIDDLESEX COUNTY, MA. (THECOUNT) — Jennifer Bemis, of Concord, Massachusetts, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle Thursday in Middlesex County.
Bemis, 67, was struck and killed by a vehicle on Thursday morning near Boston.
According to reports, Bemis was on-foot in the area of Main Street and Thoreau Street in Concord, when she was struck by a 91-year-old driver around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Bemis was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The elderly driver remained at the scene and fully cooperated with police.
No charges have been filed in the deadly incident.
The collision remains under investigation.
