BERGEN COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Yuri Berger, of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning in Bergen County.
Berger, 62, was killed while crossing the street Wednesday near Fair Lawn.
According to reports, Berger was on-foot in the area of Fair Lawn Ave near Parmalee Ave in Fair Lawn, NJ, when he was struck by a Honda operated by a 53-year-old man.
The force of the collision sent Berger airborne and into the path of a Mercedes Benz operated by a 63-year-old Clifton man.
Berger was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
