ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Michael Shea Massey, of Farmington, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Tuesday night single-motorcycle crash in St. Francois County.
Massey, 24, was killed in a motorcycle crash near Farmington Tuesday night.
According to reports, Massey was operating a Yamaha FZR1000 motorcycle on Highway 67 near Blomeier Road in Farmington, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 8 p.m. Tuesday. The bike then entered a culvert ejecting the rider.
Massey was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
