WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Randy Gowton, of Mt Pleasant, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the victim in a motorcycle collision in Westmoreland County Wednesday night.
Gowton, 50, was killed in a motorcycle crash involving a deer near Cook Township Wednesday night.
According to reports, Gowton was operating a motorcycle traveling on State Route 711 near Riggs Lane in Stahlstown, when the bike came into contact with a deer around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Gowton was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
