WASHINGTON COUNTY, RI. (THECOUNT) — Klaudyna Polewacz, of Middletown, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday evening single-vehicle crash in Washington County, Rhode Island.
Polewacz, 35, was killed in an Interstate 95 single-vehicle crash near Richmond Wednesday evening.
According to reports, Polewacz was operating a vehicle on I-95 in Richmond, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then entered a culvert and rolled over multiple times.
Polewacz, who was ejected from the vehicle, was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
