LAWRENCE COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Curtis Wayne Cummins, of Rogersville, Missouri, and Marvin D. Olive, of Macomb, Missouri, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal vehicle crash in Lawrence County early Tuesday morning.

Cummins, 55, and 62-year-old Olive, were both killed in an Interstate 44 single-vehicle heavy-duty truck crash near Ash Grove on Tuesday morning.

According to reports, Cummins was operating a GMC 7500 Heavy-Duty truck on I-44 near mile marker 58 in Ash Grove, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then made contact with a cable barrier and rolled over down the embankment.

Both men were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
