BENTON COUNTY, OR. (THECOUNT) — Ashley Kropf, of Halsey, Oregon, has been identified as the victim in a Benton County single-vehicle crash Monday afternoon.
Kropf, 23, a Rural USPS Carrier Associate, was delivering mail, when her vehicle wrecked Monday afternoon near Corvallis.
According to reports, Kropf was operating a Nissan vehicle on Llewellyn Rd near Oregon 99W in Corvallis, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 2 p.m. Monday. The vehicle then entered a culvert and rolled over.
Kropf was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
