CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — Kimani O. Donovan, the victim involved in a shooting at Chesterfield Towne Center on June 23, has died in an area hospital as a result of his injuries.
Donovan, 22, died Monday following a June 23 shooting in the food court area of Chesterfield Towne Center.
On June 24, officials located William Ezell Taylor Jr., 23, of Petersburg, and identified him as shooting suspect.
Police say Taylor was arrested without incident. He has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Taylor is currently being held at Riverside Regional Jail without bond.
The investigation into the deadly incident remains open.
