BOONE COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Allyson B. Davis, of Banner, Kentucky, has been identified as the victim in a Monday morning vehicle collision in Boone County.
Davis, 21, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor Monday on Interstate 75 near Boone.
According to reports, Davis was operating a vehicle on I-75 in Boone, when the vehicle went out of control and made contact with a big-rig on Monday.
Davis was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
