DEWITT COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Noah J. Jennell from Breckenridge, Michigan, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday night fatal vehicle crash in DeWitt County.
Jennell, 21, died Sunday night following a vehicle crash involving farming equipment in Jasper Township.
According to reports, Jennell was operating a Saturn Ion on West Redstone Road in Wheeler, when the vehicle came into rear-end contact with a hay merger being hauled by a tractor around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
Jennell was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision of blunt force trauma injuries.
The operator of the tractor was uninjured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
