SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Joseph Wiley, of Santa Maria, California, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday night motorcycle crash in Santa Barbara County.
Wiley, 63, was killed in a single-motorcycle crash near Santa Maria on Thursday Night.
According to reports, Wiley was operating a motorcycle with a group of motorcyclists in the 6300 block of Dominion Road in Santa Maria, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The bike then wrecked around 7 p.m. Friday.
No one else was involved in the crash.
Wiley was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
