MIAMI COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — Douglas Clinkenbeard, Paige Williamson and Nicholas Miller, have been identified as the three victim in a triple-fatal Friday afternoon two-vehicle crash in Miami County, Indiana.
Clinkenbeard, 53, of Elwood, Miller, 31, and 18-year-old Williamson, both of Peru, died following a two-vehicle head-on crash near Peru on Friday afternoon.
According to reports, Clinkenbeard was operating an SUV on IN-19 in Peru, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 12 p.m. Friday. The SUV then came into contact with another SUV, occupied by Miller and Williamson.
All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
