GASTON COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Devonte Leon Hall of Winston Salem, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim fatally shot in Gaston County Saturday night.
Hall, 28, was found shot dead Saturday night near Gastonia.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired in the 2400 block of Fairview Dr, in Gastonia. When they arrived, Hall was discovered suffering from multiple gunshot wounds just before midnight.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
