STARK COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Rickey and Kimberly Ross, of Columbus, Ohio, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal motorcycle crash in Stark County Wednesday night.
Rickey, 60, and and Kimberley, 49, were both killed in a motorcycle collision involving a vehicle Wednesday night in Jackson Township.
According to reports, two motorcycles were traveling on US-62 near Orders Rd in Jackson Township, when the bikes made contact with a Ford Explorer, operated by 55-year-old Renee Matkowski of Grove City around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Rickey and his passenger, Kimberley, were transported to an area hospital where they later died of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver and passenger on the second motorcycle received minor injuries.
The Ford driver was not injured in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
