TREGO COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Courtney Windholz, of Bucklin, Kansas, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday fatal vehicle crash in Trego County.
Windholz, 19, was killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday near Ogallah.
According to reports, Windholz was operating an SUV on 290th near Road M in Ogallah, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway on Saturday. The vehicle then made contact with an embankment and rolled over.
Windholz, who was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
