DOUGLAS COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Joseph Rocha has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday motorcycle crash in Douglas County, Nebraska.
Rocha, 26, was killed early Saturday morning in a single-motorcycle crash near Omaha.
According to reports, Rocha was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Vinton St near 38th St, in Omaha, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 3 a.m. Saturday. The bike then made contact with a staircase and a pole.
Rocha, who was ejected from the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
