BATON ROUGE, LA. (THECOUNT) — Brennan Butler, of New Orleans, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday morning vehicle crash in East Baton Rouge Parish.

Butler, 19, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Baton Rouge early Saturday.

According to reports, Butler was operating a vehicle on Burbank Drive in East Baton Rouge, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 1 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle the entered a culvert.

Butler was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
