KENT COUNTY, DE. (THECOUNT) — Caprice Johnson of Perryville, Maryland, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday night wrong-way DE-1 vehicle crash in Kent County, Delaware.
Johnson, 35, was killed in a wrong-way vehicle crash near Dover on Wednesday night.
According to reports, Johnson was operating a Mazda on Bay Road the wrong-way, when the vehicle came into head-on contact with a Nissan near exit 92.
Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The 39-year-old Nissan driver was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
