MADISON COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Eric Nathaniel Barbee and Cristy Marie Calloway of New Market, Alabama, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal motorcycle crash Thursday night in Madison County.
Barbee, 40, and Calloway, 33, were both killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash near New Market.
According to reports, Barbee was operating a motorcycle with Calloway as his passenger, when the bike came into contact with a pickup truck on Maysville Road around 8 p.m. Thursday night.
Both riders were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The operator of the pickup truck was uninjured in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigating.
