ESSEX COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Dana Lee Sanderson, of Colchester, Vermont, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday evening motorcycle crash in Essex County, New York.
Sanderson, 60, was killed in a single-motorcycle crash Sunday evening near Crown Point New York.
According to officials, Sanderson was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Lake Road in Crown Point, when for undetermined reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 5 p.m. Sunday. The bike then made contact with a utility pole.
Sanderson was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
