DICKSON COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — John Zachary Goodwin, of Camden, Tennessee, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday night two-vehicle crash in Dickson County.
“Zach” Goodwin, 44, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Dickson on Saturday night.
According to officials, Goodwin was operating a Toyota Prius on Highway 70 West near C C C Road, when the vehicle came into contact with a Ford Fusion that had failed to observe a posted stop sign around 9 p.m. Saturday.
A 15-year-old passenger in the Prius sustained unknown injuries in the crash.
Goodwin was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
It is unclear if the Fusion driver suffered any injuries.
Charges against the driver of the Fusion are unknown at this time.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
