MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Ed Oliver, current Buffalo Bills defensive tackle, was arrested Saturday night on DWI and gun charges in Montgomery County, Texas.

Oliver, 22, a former University of Houston standout, was jailed Saturday night on a DWI charge and a gun charge.

According to reports, Oliver was operating a Ford Super Duty pickup on FM 242 near Patton Village in Patton Village around 9 p.m. Saturday, when he was pulled over for weaving in and out of lanes.

Following a sobriety test, Oliver was found to be driving under the influence.

During the traffic stop, police found an unregistered gun in the vehicle.

Oliver was arrested on a misdemeanor DWI charge and a misdemeanor charge of unlawfully carrying a weapon after authorities say a pistol was found in his vehicle.
