GLEN BURNIE, MD. (THECOUNT) — Larry Leroy Vanmeter, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, has been identified as the victim in a Friday motorcycle crash in Anne Arundel County.
Vanmeter, 29, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash in Glen Burnie Friday night.
According to Anne Arundel County police, Vanmeter was operating a motorcycle on Point Pleasant Road near Furnace Branch Road, when the bike came into contact with a Ford Taurus that was performing a turn.
Vanmeter was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The occupant of the Ford were uninjured in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
