LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Beckett Cypher, the son of Melissa Etheridge, has died, it was announced by the singer on Wednesday.
Cypher, who was one of two of Etheridge’s children with former partner Julie Cypher, and conceived with sperm from the Rock & Roll Hall of famer member, David Crosby, was found dead at age 21.
The young man’s untimely death was announced on the singer’s Twitter account Wednesday.
“We’re sad to inform you that Melissa’s son Beckett passed away and there will not be a Concerts From Home show today,” the tweet read.
No cause of death or other details were given.
