LA Man Brent Sauce ID’d As Victim In Thursday Night Fatal Thibodaux Single-Vehicle Crash

THIBODAUX, LA. (THECOUNT) — Brent Sauce of Thibodaux, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash in Lafourche Parish Thursday night.

Sauce, 23, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Thibodaux Thursday night.

According to reports, Sauce was operating a Chevrolet Silverado on Choctaw Rd in Thibodaux, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 10 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle then came into contact with an embankment before colliding with a substantial tree and rolling over.

Sauce, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
