MOBILE COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Donald Lyn Adams, of Wilmer, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Tuesday night wrong-way motorcycle crash in Mobile County.
Adams, 44, was killed in a two-vehicle head-on crash while attempting to elude police near Wimler on Tuesday night.
According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Adams was operating a Suzuki motorcycle on Glenwood Road in Wilmer, when the bike came into head-on contact with an GMC Acadia SUV, operated by 24-year-old Hannah Bowers, around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Adams, who was thrown from the bike during the collision, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
It is unclear if Bowers suffered any injuries.
It is unknown why police initiated the chase.
The cause of the fatal incident remains under investigation.
