MECKLENBURG COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Seddrick Demon Major, of Charlotte, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday fatal motorcycle crash in Mecklenburg County.
Major, 41, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Sunday night near Charlotte.
According to reports, Major was operating a motorcycle in the 1100 block of Valleydale Road in Charlotte, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 6 p.m. Sunday. The bike then came into contact with a utility pole and a street sign.
Major, who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
