NEW YORK, N. (THECOUNT) — Giovanni H’enri Otho has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting in East Harlem, New York Saturday morning.

Otho, 30, died, and a 26-year-old man injured, in a shooting following an argument over a dice game in East Harlem early Saturday morning.

According to NYPD, Otho, 30, the 26-year-old and another man, were engaged in a dice game on W 143rd St near Malcolm X Blvd in New York, when the suspect opened fire around 1 a.m. Saturday.

Otho, aka, Giovanni Hardnett, was struck once in the chest. He was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.

The 26-year-old was struck by gunfire in the left foot and right elbow. He is expected to recover.

The gunman fled the scene.

No arrests have been made.

The deadly incident remains under investigation.
