DANVILLE, VA. (THECOUNT) — Travis McKenzie, of Danville, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday evening crash.
“Tray” McKenzie, 39, was killed in a late Thursday afternoon crash in Danville.
According to Danville Police, McKenzie was operating a Chevrolet Impala on Arnett Boulevard in Danville, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 4 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a Ford F-150 pickup truck.
McKenzie was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the Ford sustained minor injuries.
