HASTINGS, NY. (THECOUNT) — Joseph D. Bisbo, of West Monroe, New York, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-crash in Oswego County on Wednesday night.

Bisbo, 30, was killed Wednesday night in a crash on Interstate 81 near the town of Hastings.

According to reports, Bisbo was operating a Lexus traveling on I-81 near Hastings, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 6 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then entered a culvert causing it to rollover multiple times before coming to the rest in a grassy area.

Bisbo, who was ejected from the vehicle during the wreck, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

Bisbo did not appear to be wearing a seatbelt, according to the crash report.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
