ONONDAGA COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Talwinder Singh, of Buffalo, New York, has been identified as the victim in a big-rig crash on Interstate 81 in Onondaga County Tuesday morning.
Singh, 36, was killed in a tractor-trailer crash near Syracuse Tuesday morning.
According to State Police, Singh was operating a Volvo 18-wheeler on I-81 in Syracuse, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 7:20 a.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then continued until it careened off the roadway and onto Route 11A below.
Singh, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
According to social media, Singh was a truck driver for BSC Express.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
