PANOLA COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Keonna R. Horner, of Little Rock, Arkansas, has been identified as the victim in a fatal two-vehicle crash in Panola County, Texas, Monday afternoon.
Horner, 34, was killed Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash near Carthage.
According to reports, Horner was operating a vehicle traveling on SH 315 near Carthage, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and made contact with a vehicle operated by 71-year-old Brian Coles, of Houston around 3:30 p.m. Monday.
Horner was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
Coles was also transported to the same area hospital where he was treated and released.
Coles’s passengers, a 39-year-old male and 11-year-old boy, were also treated for injuries and later released.
According to social media, Horner, who was originally from Stuttgart, Arkansas, worked for the Arkansas State Police.
