OBION COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — David Blue from Mascoutah, Illinois, has been identified as the apparent drowning victim Sunday while visiting Reelfoot Lake State Park in Obion County, Tennessee.
Blue, 63, was fishing, when he apparently fell out of his boat while on Reelfoot Lake in Tiptonville Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency discovered an unoccupied boat on Reelfoot Lake around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Blue was later located deceased near an area boat ramp.
Officials say Blue was not wearing a life jacket.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
