BLOUNT COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Landry Daniel Leopard, of Warrior, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a fatal early Sunday morning crash in Blount County.
Leopard, 22, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Cleveland, Alabama Sunday morning.
According to reports, Leopard was operating a Mercedes E320 traveling on AL-160 near Cleveland, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 12 a.m. Sunday. The vehicle then rolled over.
Leopard was ejected from the vehicle during the wreck.
Leopard, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
