MACON COUNTY, IL. (THECOUNT) — Dylan Bunch, of Decatur, Illinois, has been identified as the suspect arrested following a fatal two-vehicle crash in Macon County Saturday Night.
An unidentified 60-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Decatur Saturday night. Bunch, 20, was arrested and booked on Aggravated DUI resulting in death.
According to officials, Bunch was operating a vehicle while under the influence of cannabis on Woodford Street near Grand Avenue, when he run a stop sign and collided with the woman driver around 10 p.m. Saturday.
The woman was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
Bunch was arrested for “cannabis causing a death” and other traffic charges. He was booked into the Macon County Jail.
The crash remains under investigation.
