VINTON, LA. (THECOUNT) — Louisiana couple, 66-year-old Kevin Paul Langley and 46-year-old Kimaley Ann Langley of Vinton, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal two-vehicle crash in Calcasieu Parish Wednesday afternoon.
The husband and wife were killed in a Wednesday afternoon car crash on LA Hwy 109.
According to authorities, Kevin Langley was operating a vehicle LA Hwy 109 south of Foreman Road in Calcasieu Parish, when the vehicle was struck in the rear by a pickup truck operated by 21-year-old Albert East IV of Vinton.
The Langleys were both pronounced dead at the scene.
East, who sustained minor injuries, was cited for careless operation and failure to wear a seatbelt. Additional charges are possible, according to officials.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
