LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OH. (THECOUNT) — Martin Howell has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday evening crash in Liberty Township, Ohio.
Howell, 33, died in a single-vehicle crash Sunday evening in Liberty Township.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Howell was operating a Chevrolet Avalanche on SR 134 near Bailey Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The vehicle then entered a culvert and rolled over ejecting Howell.
Howell, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
