GREENLAWN, NY. (THECOUNT) — Albert Mantaring, of Huntington, New York, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash Saturday evening in Greenlawn.
Mantaring, 60, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Greenlawn late Saturday afternoon.
According to Suffolk police, Mantaring was operating a Subaru Legacy SUV on Manor Road North near Clay Pitts Road in Greenlawn, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 5 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle then made contact with a substantial tree and flipped over.
Mantaring, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma.
