HOPKINS COUNTY, KY. (THECOUNT) — Ricky Darnell Tandy, of Earlington, Kentucky, has been identified as the victim in a fatal two-vehicle crash in Hopkins County Saturday morning.
Tandy, 33, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Nebo Saturday morning.
According to reports, Tandy was operating a vehicle traveling on Nebo Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 5:30 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle then came into contact with another vehicle head-on.
The victim in the other vehicle was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Tandy was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
