RICHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI. (THECOUNT) — Sidney Szewczyk, of Attica, Michigan, has been identified as the victim found murdered inside a residence in the Davison Hills mobile home park Tuesday afternoon.
Szewczyk, 28, was found deceased inside the Richfield Township community. Police have ruled the death a murder.
According to Richfield Township Police Department officials, the body of Szewczyk was located inside a residence, located at, 11067 E Mt Morris Rd in Davison, during a welfare check around 12:50 p.m. Tuesday.
An unidentified 40-year-old Davison man was arrested in Kentucky and charged with open murder.
The suspect is awaiting extradition back to Michigan to face the charges.
Investigators did not release how Szewczyk died or a possible motive for the murder.
