STAMFORD, CT. (THECOUNT) — Mark Vuono, owner Marco Jewelers in Stamford, Connecticut, was fatally shot at his store Saturday Afternoon.
Vuono, 69, was shot and killed during an afternoon robbery at the 6th Street store on Saturday, police said.
According to reports, a customer entered the 6th Street store and discovered Vuono suffering from apparent fatal gunshot injuries around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Vuono was pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
An autopsy is being performed on Vuono.
