ARLINGTON, TX. (THECOUNT) — Payton Marie Fischer, of Arlington, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a fatal ATV crash Friday night.
Fischer, 20, was operating an ATV, with two other individuals as passengers, when the vehicle made contact with a curb, ejecting all three. The vehicle then traveled until it collided with a house.
According to officials, the fatal crash occurred around 11 p.m. Friday night in the 7300 block of Vicari Drive, in Arlington.
Fischer was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead before midnight of blunt force trauma head injuries suffered in the crash.
A 17-year-old woman was taken to Medical City Arlington in unknown condition. Another rider, an 18-year-old woman, was treated at the scene, police said.
No one else was injured in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
