CAMDEN, TN. (THECOUNT) — Katelyn Taylor, of Camden, Tennessee, has been identified as the suspect arrested in the murder of her grandparents, Eugene and Celeste McDaniel Monday.
Taylor, 28, was arrested Monday after her grandparents were found dead in their Camden home.
According to the Camden Police Department, officers arrived to 172 Vicksburg Ave in Camden, to perform a welfare check around 8 a.m. Monday. When officials arrived, they found Eugene, 84 and 67-year-old Celeste McDaniel deceased.
During the TBI’s investigation, they determined Taylor was responsible in the elderly couple’s deaths.
Taylor was booked into the Benton County Jail on two counts of Criminal Homicide, with a bond amount set at $500,000, reports WSMV.
A manner and cause of death was not provided by officials.
