Monica Lewinsky Directs 750K Twitter Followers To ‘Send Stool Sample’ To White House To Test For COVID19

WASHINGTON, DC. (THECOUNT) — Monica Lewinsky directed her 750,000 social media followers to snail mail a “stool sample” to the White House on Friday.

Lewinsky took to Twitter to ask her followers to send the feces to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave:

“They’ve now decided they will test EVERYONE for the Covid-19 Virus. Please send a stool sample to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20500.”

The tweet was liked more than 42,000 times and retweeted nearly 7,000 times at the time of this report. Users found Lewinsky’s tweet to be an attempt at humor while also siding against President Trump’s response to the coronavirus outbreak, reports AnalyzingAmerica.

The response on social media was highly critical. One Twitter user responded, “Not funny Monica. One family has lost 4 family members and your [sic] using this sick humor is not funny.”

As of Sunday morning the offending Lewinsky tweet remained on the service.
