FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, OH. (THECOUNT) — Steven Roy Waits, of Grove City, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday night crash in Franklin Township.
Waits, 64, was killed in a four-vehicle crash Friday night in Columbus, according to Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

According to reports, Waits was operating a Dodge Caravan which was stopped at a red light west near West Broad Street and Georgesville Road, when he was struck from behind around 7 p.m. Friday by 34-year-old Jhuante Burton of Columbus.
A Ford Mustang and a Nissan Pathfinder were also involved in the wreck.
Waits was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma.
It is unknown at this time whether alcohol or drugs were a factor, according to a statement released by the sheriff’s office.
Bianca Williams, 30, of Columbus, a passenger in the Captiva Burton was driving, was transported in stable condition. The driver of the Mustang, Michael Butts, 47 of Columbus was also taken to Grant in stable condition, reports Dispatch.
The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
