KANSAS CITY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Aaron Edminster, of Wichita, Kansas, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday afternoon single-vehicle crash in Kansas City.
Edminster, 31, was killed in a crash on Interstate 435 in the Kansas City area Friday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Edminster was operating a vehicle on I-435 in Wyandotte County, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 2:30 p.m. Friday. The vehicle the made contact with the concrete base of a Kansas Department of Transportation road sign.
Edminster, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
