BETHEL TOWNSHIP, OH. (THECOUNT) — Matthew Martin, of Tipp City, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday afternoon single-vehicle crash in Bethel Township.
Martin, 37, was killed in a single-crash in Tipp City on Wednesday afternoon.
According to officials, Martin was operating a vehicle 4200 block of Ross Road at Wildcat Road in Bethel Township, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then made contact with a utility pole and a grouping of trees before coming to a rest on its roof.
Authorities say Martin was not wearing his seatbelt during the violent crash.
Martin was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
