WARREN COUNTY, MS. (THECOUNT) — Tashekia Latoyia Scott, of Vicksburg, Mississippi, has been identified as the victim in a single-vehicle crash near Bovina overnight.
“Shekia Boo Scott,” 28, was killed early Friday following a single-vehicle crash on I-20 in Warren County.
According to officials, Scott was operating a Toyota Camry on Interstate 20 near Bovina, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then entered a culvert causing it to rollover. Scott was ejected from the vehicle during the violent crash around 2 a.m. Friday.
A crash report noted that the victim was not wearing her seatbelt.
Police say that fatigue may have been a factor in the fatal wreck.
