COLLEGE STATION, TX. (THECOUNT) — Officials are reporting an active shooter situation at Post Oak Mall in College Station, Texas, Tuesday afternoon.
At this early stage, there are no information on possible injuries, but police are advising people in the mall to shelter in place and others to avoid the area.

The mall is located less than three miles from the campus of Texas A&M, but the school is currently on spring break, reports EastTexasMatters.
