LAURENS COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Kevin Bruce Mcclain, of Donalds, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Laurens Sunday night.
Mcclain, 54, was killed Sunday night while operating a motorcycle on Curry Road in Laurens.
According to officials, Mcclain was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Curry Road, when a teen driver exiting SC-49 entered his path while performing a left hand turn.
The collision ejected Mcclain from his bike.
Mcclain was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
It is unclear if anyone was cited at the scene.
The teen driver was not injured in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
